Varnish
Take a look at Varnish, learn more about website accelerators and discover exactly what is they do.
Varnish is a web app accelerator, which has been gaining a lot of popularity in recent years, as it can increase the speed of any website, sometimes even by one hundred percent, based on the content itself. This tool is occasionally referred to as a caching HTTP reverse proxy too and is used to lower the overall load on the physical server and to accelerate the access speed for the website visitors. Each time a visitor loads a page on a given site, the browser request is handled by the web server and the requested info is sent as a response. If Varnish is activated, it caches the web pages that the visitor opens and in case any of them is loaded for a second time, it is served by Varnish and not by the web server directly. The increase in the performance is due to the fact that the accelerator processes the browser requests considerably quicker than any web server, which results in much faster browsing speeds for the website visitors. If any data is modified meanwhile, the cached web pages will also be ‘refreshed’ the next time someone attempts to open them.
Varnish in Cloud Hosting
Varnish is offered as an optional upgrade with all our Linux cloud hosting packages. You can add it to your web hosting account via the Hepsia Control Panel, which is available with all shared plans and you’ll get an amazingly simple-to-work-with GUI, which will grant you full control over the caching platform. Using one-click quick-access buttons, you can restart or stop any of the instances, in other words – Varnish will no longer be enabled for a particular website. You can also check an elaborate system log or erase the cache for any of the websites. When you add Varnish to your web hosting plan, you will be able to choose the total amount of memory that will be available to you for caching purposes and how many sites will use Varnish. You can always get more memory in increments of 32 MB and, for maximum performance, you can set a dedicated IP address for the sites that will use Varnish. This will allow you to get the most out of your sites and to have many pleased users.
